Audition for 2027

Symphony Orchestra and BRYJE auditions are by video. Scherzo Strings auditions are in person. Have these ready before you start.

• Symphony Orchestra and BRYJE: a YouTube videoTwo contrasting pieces or excerpts and a scale of your choice, recorded on a phone or tablet. Upload it as Unlisted. If you're also auditioning for BRYJE, you'll need a second video.
• Scherzo Strings: no videoThose auditions are in person. After you apply and pay, we'll arrange a time. Rehearse the relevant excerpts, and any other relevant music for the day so you arrive fully ready.
• A parent or guardian nearby, if you're under 18We'll ask for their name, mobile and email. You can add the applicant's email too if they have one.
• A card for the $30 audition feePaid at the end on Stripe. A receipt goes to the email you choose.
• Your teacher's name and rough AMEB levelOptional. It helps us place you.
